Growing up spending a lot of time in the woodshops of friends and neighbors in my hometown of Saxapahaw, NC and rehabilitating dilapidated early century homes with my father and brothers, I developed an appreciation for quality craftsmanship early on. After earning my BS in Music from UNCA, I continued to work as a carpenter and craftsman for several years, and then as the lead Project Manager and VP for a premier builder here in Asheville over the last decade.

Now the owner of Painted Buckeye, I am able to keep my love for the craftsmanship and artistry we find in our historic Asheville homes while applying a sharp eye, creativity, and lifetime of practical knowledge to all of our projects. I especially love when we find those clients that view their homes and businesses with that same artistic eye and passion. From the initial design budget, through your selection process, to the final touches before you are handed the keys, I will be here to make sure it all happens with your best interest at heart.

Outside of work you’ll find me and my family in the rivers and mountains around our beautiful city.
